What services do we provide?

We provide a MaineCare service known as Rehabilitative and Community Services (RCS). This service was created to help children and youth up to the age of 21 who have a developmental disability that affects their everyday functioning.

Effective Practices

Our services are based on evidence-based practices in order to effectively improve the outcomes of our clients and their families.

Treatment Team Support

Our services can be delivered in individual or group settings, and are intended to help the child function better in home and community by working on goals identified in the treatment plan.

Plan-based progression

We incorporate continuous accountability and quality improvement mechanisms to track, monitor and manage the achievement of our systems and goals.

Strengths-based Services

Our services build off our clients' strengths, interests, hobbies and skills.

Functional Communication

Work on active listening or expressing wants and needs through cooking together or choosing a favorite game.

Socialization Skills

Teach flexibility and encourage a client to engage with their peers during our office events.

Safety Awareness

Address awareness of surroundings or their personal bubble during an outing at the park.

Emotional Regulation

Work on using coping strategies such as breathing, counting, and rhythm activities and teach client words to express their emotions.

Daily Living Skills

Assist a client with hygiene or dressing routines while having a dance party.

Independent Living Skills

Guide a client through purchasing an item at a store or ordering food at a restaurant.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who qualifies for this service?

Our service must be deemed medically necessary through a physician. The member must be under the age of twenty one and also have completed a multi-axial evaluation (with an Axis I or Axis II behavioral health diagnosis) as well as a functional assessment.

Where do services happen?

In-home, at our office and in the community. This hybrid approach ensures different goals are worked on in various environments.

How do I get started?

Contact your Case Manager and ask them about getting React as a Preferred Provider. You may also contact us if you do not have a Case Manager.

Can I be a part of services as a parent/guardian?

Absolutely. Our services do best when everyone is on the same page. We want to know what has and hasn't worked, so your feedack will be vital in shaping our service.
