What is a BHP?

Being a BHP is similar to being a mentor, a Big Brother/Big Sister or even a coach for your client. You will build off of your client's strengths, hobbies and interests to work on different life skills and goals in a fun and natural way.

Where do I work?

Our services take place in the client's home, at our office and anywhere you can work on their goals (playgrounds, parks, children's museums, libraries, etc). We also do a ton of company events such as apple picking, pumpkin carving, etc.

What are the usual hours?

Typically after-school hours so most sessions start around 2-3pm and wrap up between 6-8pm. These times vary depending on the client, availability and time of the year. Summertime hours are flexible.

Will I be given training?

Absolutely. Our dedicated trainer and support team are here to assist you with any questions or challenges you may encounter. We provide training for all experience levels and BHP Certification.

Can I work with other BHPs?

Definitely. We encourage BHPs and their clients to meet up and work together. We also use a group chat platform called Slack to share ideas, coordinate outings and stay in touch.
